DESIGN:Besides built-in durability for longer life, special attention is paid to make seating as comfortable as possible.All cantilevered models are reinforced at the bends by using additional lengths of insert tubes for resisting static and impact loads and to give a remarkable cushioning effect.Some of the models of the range are stackable-when not in use and hence conserve office space.
 
TUBULAR FRAMEWORK:The design of the tubular framework of Godrej Office Chairs is unique to Godrej. Only prime quality CRCA steel directly procured from the Steel Authority of India Ltd. is used for manufacturing tubes to stringent specifications in the Godrej Tube Mill. A special welding method is employed to obtain strong and neatly finished joints.
 
SEAT, BACK AND ARMRESTS:Seat, back and armrests are crafted from durable, quality hardwood and are finely finished for an attractive appearance.Plastic cane of Godrej specification with a high tensile strength is used in caning seats and backs for comfort and longer life. In all cushion models, PVC leather foam fabric is used for an attractive appearance.
 
SPECIAL PRE-TREATMENT:For better life of the powder coating finish, all steel components undergo special pre-treatment, which is unique to Godrej.
 
FINISH:All steel components are painted with a special epoxy powder coating and are oven-baked at an uniform temperature of 165(degree)c for a smooth, scratch-resistant and long-lasting finish.
 
COLOUR SCHEME:CHR-1 and CHR-153 models are available in black. All other models are available in three basic colours, Olive, T.A.Grey and Char Brown.
 
RANGE:Two models CHR-6 and CHR-7 with armrests are meant for office use. CHR-4, CHR-8 and CHR-18 are office chairs without armrests. CHR-18B and CHR-18C are desk-cum-chairs for classroom/training centre use. Also available are folding chairs CHR-1 (steel seat and back) for a variety of uses.
